GUS G. (feat. Ronnie Romero) – Steel Burning [Japan-only CD] (2026) , MP3+FLAC

All Exclusive Heavy Metal |Power Metal HQ Prog Metal

Impressive guitarist GUS G. pleased us this 2026 with his really good new solo album ‘Steel Burner’. Now GUS G. & KING Records are releasing only in Japan the album “Steel Burning [Live + Studio]” to coincide with his confirmed Japan tour this autumn. And and we’re featuring it exclusively on anywhere.

“Steel Burning” features tracks recorded live at the recent Rock Hard festival with the same line up who recorded GUS G. latest studio album, including the terrific Ronnie Romero on lead vocals. These songs sound awesome live, harder with a monster sound.

The album also include 2 new studio recordings with the full band: covers of Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden classics.
First we have GUS G.’s take on Sabbath / Dio classic “The Mob Rules” with Romero on lead vocals. This is a KILLER version you need to hear. SERIOUSLY. Next we are delighted by Maiden’s “Murders in the Rue Morgue”, with talented Nicklas Sonne on lead vocals and a guest guitar solo by Japanese shredder SAKI. Another great version.

plotn08 always give you more, and as extra we added the just released advance single from ‘Purple Storm; a Tribute to Deep Purple’ to be released soon. The song is a racing cover of “Highway Star” with GUS G. on guitar, shouter Girish Pradhan, Billy Sheehan on bass, Derek Sherinian on keyboards, and Chris Adler on drums… a super line up!
