Krokus ‎– Metal Rendez-vous [Rock Candy Remaster] 2014, MP3+FLAC

All Exclusive Hard Rock HQ

Released in 1980, “Metal Rendez-Vous” was the album that firmly established Swiss hard rock pioneers KROKUS on the international scene. After several years of lineup changes and experimentation, the band found its definitive direction with the arrival of Maltese-born vocalist Marc Storace, whose powerful voice became one of KROKUS’ trademarks.

Joined by guitarists Tommy Kiefer and Fernando von Arb, the band delivered a hard-hitting blend of driving rhythms, memorable hooks and heavy guitar work. Produced by Martin Pearson together with the band, the album became a landmark in KROKUS’ career and remains one of the essential records of European hard rock.

“Metal Rendez-Vous” features several enduring KROKUS favorites, including “Heatstrokes”, “Streamer”, “Tokyo Nights” and the infectious “Bedside Radio”, a song that has remained part of the band’s live repertoire.

Rock Candy Records later gave the album the Remastered & Reloaded treatment, bringing a cleaner, more powerful sound to this classic recording. The edition has since gone out of print, making a high-quality upgrade particularly worthwhile for collectors and longtime KROKUS fans.
