GOTTHARD – Lugano My Town w/ Bianconeri Alè (2026) EP
Swiss hard rock legends GOTTHARD pay tribute to their hometown with two brand-new official songs created for FC Lugano. Released on July 26, 2026, “Lugano My Town” and “Bianconeri Alè” will make their debut during the club’s first home match of the 2026/27 season before becoming part of the matchday experience at the new AIL Arena.
The project is especially meaningful for guitarist Leo Leoni, who played for FC Lugano’s youth academy before founding GOTTHARD and was part of a Swiss youth championship-winning team. Returning to support his hometown club through music makes this release a truly personal achievement.
To capture the genuine atmosphere of Lugano’s football culture, the recordings feature the voices of the club’s devoted Curva Nord supporters. Combined with GOTTHARD’s trademark melodic hard rock sound, powerful choruses, soaring guitar solos and infectious hooks, both tracks are destined to become stadium favorites.
A perfect union of hard rock and football, celebrating the passion, pride and spirit of one city.
