That turns out to be only about half true, however. Certainly, the arrangements and instrumentation on the album differ from those on most albums featuring Balin. Freedom Flight is Marty Balin’s 1997 studio album. Unlike his previous solo efforts which utilized many supporting musicians, this album had Marty performing only with his own guitar work and some background vocalists.
Better Generation is the third solo album released by Marty Balin. The album was produced shortly after Jefferson Airplane’s reunion album and tour, without any other members of Jefferson Airplane involved.
