Backed by Rudy Sarzo, Alex Grossi and Johnny Kelly, Torra attacks the classics with a young voice, plenty of nerve and zero interest in sounding intimidated by the history behind him.

The debut took place at the Cherokee Event Center in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, on October 1, 2026. Torra had only recently been announced as the band’s new lead singer after an open audition process, replacing Jizzy Pearl and stepping into one of the most recognizable vocal positions in ’80s American metal.

“Run For Cover” opens the set with immediate intent before “Slick Black Cadillac” and “Mama Weer All Crazee Now” settle the band into familiar territory. Torra sounds especially comfortable once the material starts climbing into the bigger choruses, and the contrast between his youthful voice and the veteran rhythm section gives the show a surprisingly fresh edge.

“I Can’t Hold On”, “Sign Of The Times” and “Love’s A Bitch” keep the middle of the set rooted in classic QUIET RIOT, while “Condition Critical” and “Thunderbird” bring more emotional weight. “Party All Night” and “Breathless” loosen things up again before “The Wild And The Young” lands as one of the strongest tests of the new lineup.

The closing run is exactly what it should be. “Let’s Get Crazy” gives Alex Grossi room for a guitar spotlight, then the band hits the two songs everyone is waiting for: “Cum On Feel The Noize” and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)”.

For a debut show, Torra sounds remarkably settled. He is not trying to imitate Kevin DuBrow line for line, but he clearly understands the energy, phrasing and attitude these songs demand. More importantly, the band around him sounds energized rather than cautious.

It is still early days for this version of QUIET RIOT, but this first full set makes one thing clear: they are not treating the new singer like a temporary patch. They threw him straight into the deep end — and he swam.

Recorded live at Cherokee Event Center, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma
Date: October 1, 2026
Video: Full Show

0:00 Intro
0:37 John Torra’s entrance
0:53 1.
