It is melodic hard rock with grease on the gears — big hooks, thick guitars and enough Bad Company swagger to keep everything loose.

At the center of the story are guitarist Thomas Jude Innamorato and bassist Freddy Villano, whose partnership goes back to the late ’80s. Their earliest recordings under the HOLY WATER name leaned hard into the classic language of FREE, BAD COMPANY, HUMBLE PIE, WHITESNAKE and FOREIGNER, but with a more American street-rock edge underneath.

The first three tracks — “I’m Not Worried Anymore”, “If I Knew Then…” and “Some Things Have To Happen” — come from the legendary Green Machine Sessions. Originally produced by Al Greenwood of FOREIGNER together with Dave Greenberg, they feature David Knight on vocals and Chuck Bonfante of SARAYA on drums. Newly remastered, they still carry that early-’90s melodic-rock sheen, only now with more weight in the bottom end.

From there, “Partners In Crime” jumps forward to the “Made In New York” era. “Superstar”, “Gistified”, “Ride On Through”, “Lead The Way” and “When London Sleeps” have all been freshly remixed by Michael Harmon, restoring Don Chaffin’s original backing vocals and adding new keyboard work from David Easton.

Those five tracks are where the band’s ’70s roots really come alive. The grooves get fatter, the guitars dirtier and the whole thing starts to breathe like classic rock rather than polished AOR. There are flashes of BAD COMPANY, AEROSMITH, WHITESNAKE and TESLA in there, but the material has enough personality to avoid turning into imitation.

The closing pair is exclusive to this collection. A reworked version of STARSHIP’s “Jane” brings Michael Santarsiero to the microphone, with Vic Pullen on drums, Grammy winner Lonnie Park on keyboards and Paul Kayen adding extra guitar fire.

Then “I’m Not Worried Anymore 2024” circles back to the beginning and closes the record with a newly recorded version of one of the key HOLY WATER songs. It works like a bookend — same core songwriting, decades more mileage.

“Partners In Crime” may be built from different eras, but it hangs together surprisingly well. The voices and production styles change, yet the songwriting DNA remains the same: melody first, riffs second, and enough groove to keep the whole thing from feeling too polished.

Country: US
Label: Good Time Music
Genre: Melodic Hard Rock / Classic Rock / Blues Rock
Release date: October 30, 2026
Format: CD / Digital

Tracklist:
01 – I’m Not Worried Anymore
02 – If I Knew Then…
03 – Some Things Have To Happen
04 – Superstar
05 – Gistified
06 – Ride On Through
07 – Lead The Way
08 – When London Sleeps
09 – Jane
10 – I’m Not Worried Anymore 2024

Thomas Jude Innamorato – Guitars
Freddy Villano – Bass

Featured Musicians:
David Knight – Vocals
Chuck Bonfante – Drums
Al Greenwood – Keyboards
Don Chaffin – Vocals
Bobby Marks – Drums
David Easton – Keyboards
Michael Santarsiero – Lead Vocals
Vic Pullen – Drums
Lonnie Park – Keyboards
Paul Kayen – Additional Lead & Rhythm Guitars

Tracks 1–3 remastered by Stacy Odell
Tracks 4–8 remixed by Michael Harmon at Studio Crash
Tracks 9–10 newly recorded for this collection

MP3 FLAC

AMERICAN MAFIA open the vaults on “Partners In Crime”, a ten-track collection that traces their bloodline from early-’90s HOLY WATER demos to the tougher, bluesier sound of the present day.
