\nOn October 29, 2026, the Hollywood Bowl became the center of the rock \u2019n\u2019 roll universe for \u201cCalifornia, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends\u201d. Nearly four hours of music built toward one extraordinary moment: AEROSMITH finally walking back onto a concert stage together.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Hosted by Bill Burr, the night unfolded like a giant love letter to the band\u2019s catalogue. Sully Erna, Warren Haynes, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar, HEART and Eric Church all took turns tearing into Aerosmith classics, each bringing a different shade to songs that have spent decades living inside American rock culture.<\/p>\n
THE BLACK CROWES followed with a set steeped in Aerosmith\u2019s dirtier \u201970s side, reaching for \u201cWrite Me A Letter\u201d, \u201cCombination\u201d and \u201cNo More No More\u201d, alongside \u201cLet The Music Do The Talking\u201d and \u201cChip Away The Stone\u201d.<\/p>\n
Then GUNS N\u2019 ROSES turned the Bowl upside down with \u201cNobody\u2019s Fault\u201d, \u201cLast Child\u201d and \u201cSeasons Of Wither\u201d before detonating \u201cWelcome To The Jungle\u201d and \u201cParadise City\u201d. For a band that has worn Aerosmith\u2019s influence proudly for decades, the connection felt less like tribute and more like family business.<\/p>\n
And then came the reason everyone was really there.<\/p>\n
Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton returned to the stage with Dave Grohl behind the kit and ripped straight into \u201cToys In The Attic\u201d. \u201cBack In The Saddle\u201d and \u201cSweet Emotion\u201d followed, sounding less like a cautious comeback and more like somebody had simply hit pause three years earlier.<\/p>\n
\u201cDream On\u201d became the emotional center of the night, with Tyler at the piano before the band shifted gears again for \u201cTrain Kept A-Rollin\u2019\u201d, joined by Johnny Depp on guitar.<\/p>\n
The final surprise landed with \u201cWalk This Way\u201d. Joey Kramer walked back onto the Hollywood Bowl stage, took his place behind the drums alongside John Douglas and reunited with Aerosmith for the closing song.<\/p>\n
For a few minutes, the years disappeared.<\/p>\n
This was not simply another all-star<\/p>\n
