Three renowned musical soulmates have joined forces to create a new and entirely original trio project called Aegteskab. Mike Andersen (Vocal\/Guitar), Michael Blicher (Sax\/Bass Pedal\/Keys\/Percussion\/Vocal) and Eddi Jarle (Drums\/Electronics\/Percussion\/Vocal) have always recognized the significance of music in their lives, treating it as a life force \u2013 their second marriage \u201cAegteskab means Marriage\u201d. They have each held a deep admiration for one another\u2019s music and playing style and have now fused it to create a distinct sound and bond. It is pioneering, hard-swinging, very honest. <\/p>\n

Aegteskab received a Danish Music Award for their debut album in the fall of 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year\u2019s winners are a relatively new name on the Danish scene \u2013 but in reality, they consist of three experienced soulmates who were already well known on the scene. However, they were so fascinated by each other\u2019s music that they felt compelled to create something entirely new \u2013 together. The result is a highly acclaimed album, which reviewers have described as \u201cbeautiful,\u201d \u201ccohesive,\u201d and \u201ca stylish blend of pop, soul, blues, and jazz.\u201d The jury describes it as \u201csimple and direct, honest.
