PRICE-SULTON – Lights On (1986)

Melodic Rock | AOR

frontA project put together by ex-UTOPIA bassist / CHEAP TRICK keyboard player Kasim Sulton and the SCANDAL and BILLY IDOL drummer credited Thommy Price. The ‘Lights On’ album also featured the talents of guitarists, Elliot Easton (THE CARS) and Phil Grande, keyboard players Danny Louis and Tommy Mandel and a guest appearance from JOAN JETT. BILLY IDOL guitarist Steve Stevens helped out in some capacity as well.

Kasim Sulton, who also had a short spell in BLUE OYSTER CULT, was rumoured to have been in contention for the vacant bassist’s position in BON JOVI, the job going to longtime associate Hugh MacDonald in the finish. Price also had a short stint with BLUE OYSTER CULT before finding regular employ with JOAN JETT’s band. In February of 2005, both Sultan and Price aided in the reformation line up of SCANDAL for US touring.
